I am glad you're here. I’m a lover of animals, nature, and long walks to the bookstore. If I'm not out walking my dog or listening to every podcast ever created, I'm spending time with loved ones.
Therapy sessions with me consist of a lot of laughing, crying, healing, a sprinkle of sarcasm, and overflowing amounts of compassion. I believe we are the way we are because of what we have been through. I help those I work with to process past trauma (big T and little t), and recognize how it continues to manifest in their daily life through unhelpful coping mechanisms of protection. (Ex: Pushing others away, fear of intimacy, people pleasing, or feeling unworthy of love.) I will challenge you (softly) to start living your life through love, and help you to put fear to the side.
Individuals and couples who identify as straight, gay, lesbian, bi, queer, trans, non-binary, poly, and kink, find a safe space in my office to explore their personal and relational issues. Let's write your next chapter together.
Life can get real heavy real quick. I invite you to schedule time out of your week to cater to your emotional/mental/spiritual being. I like to consider therapy to be more of a “mental/emotional” gym if you will. How can you love others, if you were never taught to love yourself? Session Fee
I charge $200 per individual session and $250 per couples/family session.
Limited sliding scale slots available- please inquire.
I accept Aetna insurance during this time, and can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance if I am out of network with your plan.
