Hi there! I’m Briana, and am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT# 117861), supervised by Aviva Wolfson, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (License #1087).
I graduated from Pepperdine University with an M.A. in Clinical Psychology, and an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy. I have always had an innate passion for helping others, and find joy in holding a safe space for clients to flourish. I have worked in a private practice setting with children, adolescents, teenagers, adults, couples, and families. I strive to create a comfortable, safe, trusting environment for you to attend for one hour out of your week. A place for you to be completely authentic, and a place to explore your innermost self.
I charge $150 per 50 minute session.
If you're feeling anxious about potentially losing the relationship you share with your teen, then I am here to help calm the storm. My goal is to get to the bottom of what is causing your child's problems. Let's help your child/teen become more secure, confident, have more fulfilling friendships, and contribute to the harmony of the household. While working with a younger age group, therapy doesn't have to look like "therapy." I use the therapeutic relationship to build rapport with my younger clients by going on walks, playing games, or listening to music during our sessions. You will feel a huge sense of relief knowing that your child/teen no longer views you as "the enemy." If you feel your child/teen can benefit from therapy, contact me for a free phone consultation.
Have you been struggling in some aspect of your life, or within a relationship? I will help you lift that weight off of your shoulders, breathe easier, and live a happier life. Some benefits you might get through therapy with me include: 1) improved communication and closeness in your relationships by changing unhealthy patterns, 2) the ability to respond to your emotions rather than react to them, 3) untangle and process past trauma, 4) rewire your brain by having a more positive outlook on life 5) therapy that is uniquely attuned to YOU and your personal needs
Individuals and couples who identify as straight, gay, lesbian, bi, queer, trans, non-binary, poly, and kink find a safe space in my office to explore their personal and relational issues. I have a special place in my heart for teens/20-somethings, and sexuality/gender spectrum issues (transition & gender identity.) Let's write your next chapter together.
